£200 Off Mobile Culture Conference for Mobile Marketing Readers

On Tuesday 17 July, London's University of the Arts will play host to the second Mobile Culture conference. The event, brought to you by CultureLabel and Camerjam, sets out to explore the use of mobile technology by cultural organisations looking at the opportunities it offers to generate new content and revenue streams, make use of archival content, and communicate with audiences.

The London Science Museum will be presenting its app, starring an Augmented Reality version of James May; the Royal Opera House and Tate will be discussing mobile strategy; Samsung will be sharing its vision for culture and the Olympics; and Ed Vaizey, Minister of Culture, will give the government's viewpoint. Other speakers include YouTube, Foursquare, The Guardian, Google Art Project, and Faber & Faber.

There will also be a series of workshops for attendees on subjects such as building mobile sites, creating apps, and Location Based Services - and, of course, a networking drinks reception after the event, sponsored by Becks, in the Atrium of the St Martins campus.
