App is Just What the Doctor Ordered

Costa Rican Medical Care, a company that specializes in "medical tourism", has launched an iPhone and Android app offering information on the medical industry in Costa Rica, and highlighting some of the best-known and accredited providers in the industry. The app offers information on medical procedures, medical conditions, treatments and other related information.

"Adding a mobile app to our already strong web presence allows us to continue to educate people about the benefits of using Costa Rica for medical tourism and dental care," says Tim Morales, president of Costa Rican Medical Care.

The company will be attending the 3rd annual Costa Rican Medical Tourism Conference at the end of April to discuss the industry, how it is affected by the national and global climate and new inititatives to increase business. It says it hopes that the added mobile initiative will help to increase its reach and customer base.
