InMobi Expands With App Platform Acquisition

Mobile ad network InMobi has bought MMTG Labs, developers of Facebook and marketplace apps AppGalleries and AppBistro. AppGalleries enables brands to host their own branded app store as part of a mobile site, while AppBistro can be used for the development of Facebook apps, as well as handling in-app payments.

"MMTG Labs fits nicely in our overall strategy to continue to deliver best of breed technology and services to our developers and publisher partners," says Naveen Tewari, founder and chief executive of InMobi.

MMTG Labs will relocate to the new InMobi San Francisco office.
