London City Airport, together with its mobile partner, mFabrik, has revamped its mobile site. The move comes after the airport operator witnessed a steady increase in traffic to the site. The branding of the redesigned site brings it in line with the airport’s online redesign, and offers simple and effective functionality, combined with a slicker browsing experience.

Integrating with mFabriks mobile delivery platform Vertex, London City Airports revamped mobile site offers real-time flight information, parking booking, general airport information and live social network integration.

“Since the inception of our integrated mobile site, we have seen a continual uplift in traffic, and very positive feedback from our customers,” says Fiona Bennel, eCommerce manager at London City Airport. “We felt that to meet the demand of our users, and to ensure we had consistant branding across our online site and mobile site, we should do a site redesign. We worked with mFabrik to create a simple and easy to use web-app experience that worked across all platforms and was very responsive, and we are delighted with the results. The traffic since the redesign has increased dramatically.”
