Mobile Roadie Extends DIY App Platform to iPad and Mobile Web

Mobile Roadie is launching a new iPad app platform and tools to build mobile websites. The Los Angeles-based company powers 3,000 apps for brands today and doubled its reach in just the last nine months. The do-it-yourself mobile app toolset is already available for iPhone and Android apps and it recently surpassed 20m end users across the platform.

“We’re now living in a mobile first world,” says Michael Schneider, CEO of Mobile Roadie. “With traffic from mobile devices and tablets surpassing desktop shortly, every brand and small business worldwide needs a high quality, low cost mobile presence.”

The iPad app platform includes live navigation widgets, hi-res graphic layers, parallax scrolling and the ability to sync content with existing communities on iOS or Android apps, and mobile websites. Mobile Roadie offers the iPad app service on a month-to-month rate of $499 or $4,999 for a full year.

The company is offering a free trial of the iPad app platform and a free mobile website offering with limited features. Otherwise, the mobile website product goes for $9 per month or $99 per year.
