Hyundai Launches Mobile Optimised Site
Hyundai UK has launched a mobile-optimised site, developed by Draftfcb, to accompany the relaunch of its website, which itself has been designed with Tablet users in mind. The mobile site, a pared down version of the main site, enables users choose and customise a car.
The site also features car tax and fuel cost calculator functionality, and dynamically tailors its homepage based on the user's initial interactions, for future visits.
"Hardly any sites make life easy for prospective car buyers so our website strategy was focused around empowering customers to find their perfect car," Andrew Cullis, marketing director for Hyundai. "Draftfcb have developed a site that delivers a user-centric, intelligent and inspirational customer experience, and that provides a solid platform to drive our retail business and develop further in the fleet market.”
The emphasis on mobile, Hyundai says, reflects the technology profile of its core customers, primarily parents in their 30s with young children - who, being an affluent and aspirational demographic, are more likely to be Tablet users.
