Jumio Streamlines Mobile Check-in for ePassports

jumio netverifyOnline and mobile credentials authentication company Jumio has announced it will be expanding its Netverify mobile check-in platform to cover ePassport verification, enabling an even faster, more reliable way to verify passports via smartphone.

Jumios latest advancement further enhances its customer experience, expanding its scanning capabilities to include new passports with embedded NFC chips with biometric data. Cuustomers can now complete an ID verification process by just scanning their ePassport NFC chip directly from an NFC-enabled smartphone.

The new solution is fully automated and enables Android users to take advantage of the additional security benefits of biometric ePassports while also experiencing the convenience and speed of mobile check-in.

Whether supplying information for airline travel, signing up for sites which require detailed identification or completing financial transactions, Jumios Netverify solution aims to ensure that transactions are easy, error-free and secure.
