Vodafone Lowers Upfront iPhone 4S Price

Vodafone has lowered the price of the iPhone 4S on its lower-priced tariffs, compared to what it charged for new customers buying an iPhone 4.

For largest price cut is on the networks entry level iPhone 4S tariff (£26 per month for 24 months, or £31 for 18 months). Users can now pick up an iPhone 4S 16GB for £239, which is a reduction of £120. The 32GB model on the same tariff costs £359 (down £80), and the 64GB model costs £449 (down £70).

The iPhone 4S deals up the price scale all see price reductions, until you get to the higher priced tariffs, which are unchanged.

In a statement, Vodafone says: Weve looked at the offers available to customers and wanted to ensure we remained competitive. Whilst weve seen very good take up across all models of iPhone we want to offer the best value available. We think that this, coupled with Data Test Drive , BuyBack, our collect in store service and our reputation as the UK s best Network, makes us the natural choice for iPhone customers.”

The companys Data Test Drive scheme gives users unlimited data for the first three months of their contract. This allows consumers to fully explore the devices connected capabilities – and at the end of the three-month period Vodafone reports how much data the user has used so that they can choose a data price plan.
