YouTube launches live TV streaming service so you never miss your favourite shows

YouTube TVYouTube has launched a live TV streaming service to give users the opportunity to watch their favourite shows while on-the-go.

YouTube TV has arrived in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, and Philadelphia – with plans to roll the services out to more areas in the US soon.

A membership costs $35 a month and can be cancelled at any time. The membership will enable users to live stream TV channels – including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, and more – as well as providing users with an always-with-you cloud DVR with no storage limits, access to YouTube Red Originals, and allowing six accounts on each membership.

YouTube TV can be accessed via smartphone, tablet or computer. It can also be streamed to TVs with a Google Chromecast or Chromecast built-in TV.

YouTube is giving users a free one month trial, and will also provide users with a complimentary Google Chromecast after their first month’s payment – while supplies last.
