Actimel rolls out The Immunity Station by Actimel custom map integration within Fortnite

Yogurt drink brand, Actimel, has announced a new custom map integration within Fortnite, that will help players’ characters survive longer in the game.

Available from now until 4 May, The Immunity Station by Actimel will feature on Apfel’s Zombie Hunter, one of Fortnite’s trending maps, where players can top up their characters with an extra shield potion. This function, available at The Immunity Station by Actimel, will give gamers characters 30 seconds’ protection, in the form of an aura, to fight off the enemy and slay oncoming zombies. It’s available using the code: 7442-9920-5685.

Players will have the opportunity to provide their characters with immune support in the first collaboration of its kind for Actimel. The campaign will be amplified via a series of digital films rolled out on the brand’s ecosystem, as well as paid media. Leading UK gaming influencer, Vikram Singh Barn, also known as Vikkstar123, will also produce content throughout the campaign to share with his community how to interact with The Immunity Station by Actimel.

“The gaming industry has always been on the leading edge of digital innovation. We’re excited to bring a unique integration with a clear solution to Fortnite’s engaged audience to show how Actimel can be incorporated into your daily routine,” said Danone UK & Ireland Head of Marketing, Rachel Wright. “With our recent research showing that nearly a third of Brits lack knowledge in knowing how to support their immune system health, this is a unique and interesting way for us to show how we are bringing immune support to the top of consumers’ agenda. This is a first of its kind for the brand, integrating into the metaverse, and one of many plans we have in place for this year to drive awareness for Actimel and its own offerings of supporting the immune system.”

Update:
Since this post went up, we have been told that the activation is now live until 15 May. We have also been asked to poiunt out that this is an independently-created Fortnite Creative experience and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games, Inc.
