Awards Crowd Shot 2The 2014 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards Ceremony takes place on 27 November in London. Between now and then, we are throwing the spotlight on the finalists in each of the 26 categories.

Today, we take a closer look at the nominees for the Most Effective Use of Payment Technologies. There are three contenders in this category, let’s take a closer look at each.

Bango
Bango partners with app stores and mobile operators to provide a smooth payment experience to mobile users, with a platform that makes it possible to pay for content via operator billing. Amazon, BlackBerry, Facebook, Firefox, Google, Samsung and Windows Phone all offer Bango payments on their app stores.

Greggs Rewards – Eagle Eye Solutions
Greggs launched its Rewards app in February 2014, using Eagle Eyes Air platform to provides customers with a prepaid account facility and a digital loyalty programme that could be used in store. Since launch, the app has been downloaded over 26,000 times.

JudoPay API
Judo offers businesses a mobile-first payment solution that promises a frictionless experience for consumers, in order to improve conversion rates. Judos clients include Tesco-owned coffee chain Harris+Hoole, and apps including PS Postcards and BarPass.
