Budweiser turns billboard into live music stage for up-and-coming artists

Beer brand Budweiser is turning one of its billboards, normally just used as advertising space, into a stage to champion female artists that deserve their big break, this evening in Shoreditch, from 6pm.

A selection of up-and-coming artists will be performing a free concert for music lovers, to showcase their talent. Budweiser will be using its platform to get these performances out to a far bigger crowd than the artists would normally have access to, with the aim of supporting them in the next steps of their career.

Music enthusiasts, or even those who are just looking for some fun on a Friday night, can enjoy a free Budweiser whilst checking out the best artists they haven’t heard of (yet). Budweiser is searching to find up-and-coming musicians who deserve a stage, and these acts will be revealed at Friday’s concert.

The performances will be live streamed via projectors across London, culminating in a broadcast on screens outside and inside the O2 Arena on the night of the Brits. These broadcasts will be accompanied with a QR code leading to a specially curated playlist with songs performed by the breakthrough talent, increasing visibility of the artists amongst the general public and music industry veterans.

“Budweiser has always celebrated greatness, and with The Brits round the corner, what better time to showcase up-and-coming musicians,” said Jack Morris, Senior Brand Manager at Budweiser. “We wanted to build a stage where everyone and anyone is welcome and are proud to work with this fantastic selection of musicians to support them on their career journey. Get yourself down to the event, grab a Bud and enjoy the talents our next generation of music icons have to offer.”
