Carly Rae Jepsen Promotes Single with Interactive Mobile-first Video

Carly Rae Jepsen interactive videoPop star Carly Rae Jepsen has launched an interactive music video to promote her latest single, Run Away With Me.

Developed by Interlude, the video uses footage lifted from the original music video but with a series of overlaid messages. Its a stylistic flourish thats neatly in line with Jepsens brand – emoji-filled messages popped up in the Tom Hanks-starring video for I Really Like You, for example.

By replying to these messages by selecting one of three emoji, the viewer can choose what they see next – for example, choosing between US, French or Japanese flags to see video from New York, Paris or Tokyo.
