Mobile content retailer FoneStarz Media has been signed up by the creators of Wallace and Gromit to offer multimedia content from Aardman Animations extensive portfolio of well-known creatures and characters.
The deal with Aardman Animations to distribute content for Vodafone and 3 in the UK  Ireland gives customers of these networks access to video clips, ringtones and other mobile-specific content featuring the studios Oscar award winners Wallace & Gromit and characters from the Creature Comforts series. FoneStarz will distribute these and hundreds of other Aardman animated video clips, wallpapers, screensavers and sound effects, including Angry Kid, Big Jeff and A Town Called Panic.
Following its distribution deal with Disney Mobile Studios in February, the contract to manage content from Aardman Animations adds to FoneStarzs continued growth of its branded content portfolio. FoneStarz also distributes mobile content for brands including Manchester United, Warner Bros and Turner.
