Facebook has launched a campaign to promote the benefits of targeted advertising for small businesses on its platforms.
The ‘Good Ideas Deserve To Be Found’ initiative highlights the importance of personalised ads in helping people discover small businesses on Facebook and Instagram.
As part of the initiative – which features an ad campaign that will run across TV, radio, and online channels in the US – Facebook is also simplifying Ads Manager to make it easier for SMBs to create personalised marketing, continuing to waive fees for businesses selling with Checkout on Shops through June 2021, expanding the information that restaurants are able to share, and updating the Facebook Business Resource hub and Instagram Professional Dashboard with more information about personalised ads.
“These investments build on the free tools and resources we introduced last year, like Facebook Shops and Facebook Business Suite, small business grant programs and virtual training to help small businesses navigate the pandemic,” said Facebook in a blog post. “We will continue to make sure small businesses have a voice to reach customers, and make sure their good ideas are found.”
