GracelandMansionElvis Presley's Graceland has introduced an multimedia iPad tour, enhanced by beacon technology to give visitors an improved experience during their trip to the Memphis, Tennessee tourist attraction.

Graceland is one of the first historic homes in the United States to offer an interactive iPad tour which provides a fully immersive experience for guests. The tour provides visitors with a multimedia tour of the house and estate with content hotspots which, when activated, enable users to dive deeper into the story of Elvis' life through archival audio, video and photo elements.

The iPad tour also includes an audio guide narrated by actor John Stamos, and allows guests to 'favourite' selected content from the tour to review and share at the end of their Graceland experience.

The introduction of the iPad tour coincides with an announcement of a 450-room guest house to be constructed at Graceland, which will open in autumn 2015, and will include two restaurants and a 500-seat theatre for live performances.
