Hailo and Bookatable Partner for Dine and Dash Convenience

Hailo-Bookatable-FINALTaxi booking app Hailo and restaurant marketplace Bookatable have partnered to integrate the latters cloud-based table reservation into the formers ride-hailing system, so restaurants can book taxis for diners with the push of a button.

Thanks to Hailos fleet of 15,000 London black cabs, diners will no longer have to wait outside in the street awaiting taxis, or make calls from within the restaurant, disturbing other patrons. With a word to waiting staff at the restaurant, a Hailo can be ready to go as soon as the bill is paid and the after-dinner mints finished.

The first phase of the partnership will see the integration rolled out to Bookatables top-tier restaurants, with a further 1,500 to go live by the end of the summer, and plans to expand to the services entire London ecosystem eventually.

“Were always looking to make life easier for our restaurant staff and their customers, so our integration with Hailo allows us to offer a greater level of service, as well as provide simplicity for waiting staff,” said Joe Steele, CEO of Bookatable. “Our integrated offering means diners can end their night enjoyably and service staff arent rushing between serving tables and waiting outside for cabs.”

“Were really delighted to partner with Bookatable to create this additional layer of service quality for restaurants and their customers,” said Jon Moore, chief product officer at Hailo. “Integrating our API with market-leading service providers like Bookatable helps to extend the great Hailo experience to a highly relevant audience in a context where getting a safe, fast and reliable journey home really matters.”
