Jungle Creations is expanding its reach into commerce, as its crafting and DIY brand Craft Factory, launches the Craft Factory Store and its new Candle Making Kits and Soap Making Kits. Craft Factory produces entertaining and educational crafting and DIY video tutorials across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, and has over 15m social followers globally.
The launch follows successful commerce ventures from Jungle Creation’s Twisted, its food and drink brand, including Twisted: A Cookbook; the launch of Twisted London, the world's first delivery-only restaurant born from a social media brand, which now has numerous sites around the UK; and the Twisted Store, which offers a range of Twisted kitchenware.
The new Craft Factory Kits were created by coupling market research with insight from the Craft Factory audiences on social channels, including a poll on the Instagram channel which gave the Craft Factory audience the opportunity to become co-creators in the process of developing the kits. In response to the poll, 80 per cent said they would like to receive handmade soap and 81 per cent handmade candles as a gift. A further 55 per centsaid it was important to them to cut down on using plastic. Additional polling across the brand’s followers informed which scent of candles and soaps would be launched.
