Marketo acquires Bizible to create leading analytics and engagement platform

Engagement marketing software and solutions firm Marketo has announced that it has acquire Bizible, a top provider of marketing performance management software. The acquisition will combine the complementary technologies and analytics offered by the two companies with the aim of creating a market-leading platform for engagement and marketing.

Our investment will accelerate Bizibles impressive growth and provide instant and achievable benefits to our current and future customers in the enterprise and beyond.”

The acquisition was announced at Marketing Nation Summit, Marketos annual conference, and comes just over a year since Marketo acquired ToutApp, a sales engagement software company, with the aim of enriching its portfolio of solutions for aligning sales and marketing.

Bizibles three co-founders, CEO Aaron Bird, Andy Turman and Peter Thompson, as well as Bizibles existing team, will continue to work out of Bizibles Seattle office, which will become a satellite for Marketo. In addition to connecting through the Marketo Engagement Platform, Bizibles customers will now also have access to new technology through the LaunchPoint partner ecosystem.
