Masterclass Expands in 2013

Our 2012 Masterclass program, which we run in conjunction with Camerjam, ended yesterday with two successful and well attended events in London. In the morning, we staged the Mobile 350 Masterclass, aimed at companies in the FTSE 350 list, while in the afternoon, we ran a Brand & Agency Masterclass.

In total, well over 100 delegates heard from 12 different mobile expert speakers – six at each event – on different aspects of mobile marketing. Subjects covered included mobile advertising, apps, mobile sites, CRM, and location-based services. Fabrizio Di Martino from Intercontinental Hotels Group delivered a keynote at the Mobile 350 event, while Nick Gee from Auto Trader was the keynote speaker at the Mobile Brand & Agency event. Both explained what their company had done on mobile to date, and what they plan to do in the future.

The 2013 Masterclass program kicks off on 29 January in London, with a new name – Masterclassing – a new logo, and a new website, which is in the final stages of completion.

We start with the Mobile Finance Masterclass in the morning, followed by the Mobile Retail Masterclass in the afternoon. In February, we return to New York for four events over two days – Finance, Retail, Travel & Tourism, and Brand & Agency.
We are expanding the scope of the events in 2013, with Digital Masterclasses where mobile is one of several digital marketing topics on the agenda, and Social Masterclasses. The first of these are in London on 12 March, with a Digital 350 event in the morning, followed by a Digital Automotive, Sport & Leisure Masterclass in the afternoon.

The first Social Masterclass events are in London on 7 May, looking at Fashion & Luxury in the morning, and Automotive, Sport & Leisure in the afternoon. Before that, there are four Mobile Masterclasses, on 26 March, aimed at the Travel & Tourism sector (morning), and Luxury Goods (afternoon). Then on 16 April, we are staging a Mobile Publishing Masterclass in the morning and a Mobile Entertainment Masterclass in the afternoon.

We’ll have more news on an additional 20 Masterclass events planned for the remainder of 2013 on a new website going live soon. In the meantime, for any client-side executives wishing to attend any of the Masterclass events, stay tuned for more details on how to register for free.
