Moo Introduces NFC Business Cards

Printing company Moo has released an NFC-enabled business card.
With each pack of business cards customers order, Moo is shipping one card featuring an NFC chip and antenna, with pre-written data. However, using a forthcoming app, customers will be able to update this data and change what exactly the card does. 
Its a cool idea, but does it have a purpose beyond being a gimmicky gadget? Moo itself acknowledges that it doesnt really know, and currently is looking for suggestions for how to use the NFC-enabled cards.
