Kantar appoints Group CEO 
Data, insights and consulting company, Kantar has announced the appointment of Chris Jansen as Group Chief Executive Officer. 

Jansen joins Kantar with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the services sector; from brand building to service delivery transformation, alongside a background in classic FMCG marketing, and an established track record of managing private equity-owned businesses. Jansen is currently the CEO of Cognita which has, over his six-year tenure, rapidly grown into one of the largest, and most highly regarded global schools groups.

Prior to that, Jansen led the Automobile Association (AA) to a stock market flotation in 2014. He held leadership roles, and Board positions at both British Gas and British Airways, having started his early career at Procter & Gamble.

This is a result of having outstanding people, and I am really looking forward to working very closely with the Kantar team. Fraser MBE joins International Advertising Association UK 
International Advertising Association UK (IAA UK) has announced the appointment of Karen Fraser MBE as Strategic Advisor.

Fraser brings a deep understanding of public policy, industry thought leadership and education to IAA UK, with a range of highly regarded professional experience in roles such as, leader of the Advertising Association’s think tank Credos for 10 years and latterly Co-founder of consultancy Weiser Works. 

Her credentials include the MBE in the Queens 2017 New Year’s Honours list, for services to advertising and equality and diversity, and she has previously won a Harvard Business Review worldwide competition, securing a place on its Breakthrough Ideas List for her work on Conflicted Consumers.

Adobe International Advisory Board hires Silver 
Adobe International Advisory Board has appointed Caroline Silver as an Advisory Partner at global independent investment bank, Moelis & Company.

With more than 30 years’ experience in international investment banking, as well as extensive experience in advising clients and regulators across Europe, Silver brings a global perspective to help Adobe customers adapt and thrive in a digital-first world.

Silver previously served as Vice Chairman of EMEA Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as Global Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. She currently holds board positions at BUPA, PZ Cussons, Meggitt PLC and Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. where she is also director of the board of directors at its subsidiary, ICE Clear Europe.

Quantcast appoints Chief Privacy Officer 
Global advertising technology company, Quantcast has announced Min-Jae Lee, JD, as its Chief Privacy Officer.

Lee joins Quantcast from The Trade Desk and will be responsible for driving Quantcast’s privacy-first approach and helping brands and publishers manage consumer consent. At The Trade Desk, Lee served as lead privacy counsel and oversaw the company’s global privacy programme.

During her time at the company, she navigated and addressed the challenges of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the industry’s major privacy developments. As a participant in the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Lee is also involved with evaluating proposed policies for the industry.

I look forward to applying my knowledge to help drive Quantcast’s privacy-first approach to a smooth transition for its customers in the era of advertising without third-party cookies” said Lee. 

Green Party Content announces Chairman 
Global digital agency, Digital Party Content has appointed Sir William Goodenough to its Board of Directors in the role of Chairman.

A highly accomplished and a proven industry leader, Sir William Goodenough has had a long, successful and prestigious career as one of the founders of Design Bridge, a leading, global Design Agency, established in 1986. Having held many senior leadership roles within the business as Head of Sales, Managing Director, CEO and finally Chairman of Design Bridge, Sir Goodenough
sold the company to WPP in 2019.

Murphy joins Acast 
Podcast platform, Acast has announced the hire of Daniella Murphy as Acast Creative Director UK+ to lead Acast’s dedicated in-house creative team from London.

Murphy joins Acast from Havas, where she led creative solutions for its media and entertainment clients including the BBC, UKTV, PayPal, giffgaff, Kia and The Open University. 

Prior to that Murphy worked at Wavemaker and OMD UK, where she played an integral role in developing the media agency’s in-house creative offering. Her work has been recognised by the likes of Campaign and at Cannes Lions, and in 2018 she was named one of Media Week’s rising stars.

Fishbrain makes three new hires 
Mobile app and social network, Fishbrain has announced three new appointments to its board: Maria Hedengren, Karim Abdel-Ghaffar, and Dylan Bolden.

Hendergren has over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in international corporations, primarily within the IT, FinTech, technology and media sectors. She is currently the CEO of Readly, which has been listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm since Hedengren took the company public in September 2020.

Abdel-Ghaffar is a Founding Partner of Westerly Winds, a venture capital firm that looks for the next wave of companies that will become an integral component of the new
economy. Prior to launching Westerly Winds, he spent 11 years at BlackRock and before that, Merrill Lynch.

Bolden is currently the North American leader of DigitalBCG and Managing Director and Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group with extensive experience advising clients in the digital space. He has helped companies use digital technologies and advanced analytics to unlock new sources of economic value and make improvements in productivity, flexibility and speed.
Dylan – an avid lifelong fisherman, fishing up and down the Florida coast – has also worked closely with outdoor sports brands and retailers on their most pressing strategic concerns.

Transact Campus names new CEO
Payment solutions company for a connected campus, Transact Campus has announced the appointment of Nancy Langer as the company’s new CEO.

Langer has led ground-breaking work in digital banking and online bill payments. As president of the electronic payment and presentment division at Metavante Corporation, she founded and launched the company’s digital banking and electronic bill payment business, substantially growing the business by the time of her departure.

After leaving in 2002, Langer returned to Metavante in 2008 and served as the EVP, division executive of payments, a $750M business, which encompassed all debit networks, bill payment, P2P, biller and government payments for the company. Later, Langer was named the chief product officer at FIS, a leading provider of global financial technology solutions. In this role, Langer was responsible for more than 300 products and research and development, product strategy, transformational platforms, and the FIS venture fund.
