David Murphy

Mobile communications and commerce enabler Netsize has announced the expansion of its global mPayment mobile transaction and billing service, with the coverage of all 25 nationwide and regional mobile network operators in Russia. Using Netsize mPayment, international content providers can now reach and bill more than 165 million subscribers in Russia. Russia is the biggest single extension of the Netsize premium messaging network to date. With the addition of Russia, Netsize customers can now reach and bill 1.3 billion subscribers globally through a single platform solution.
The Netsize mPayment Russia offer enables content providers to securely and reliably offer and bill mobile multimedia content and services such as gaming, and applications that target community services and User-generated Content. End-user support is provided in local language, in full compliance with Russian operator regulations. Using Netsize mPayment, the company says, content providers will benefit from a fast time-to-market and professional support when launching services in Russia.
The mPayment coverage of Russia comprises the mobile networks of MTS, VimpelCom (Beeline) and MegaFon, together representing approximately 84% of the market, as well as the networks of over 20 regional mobile operators, giving a total mobile subscriber reach of 100%.
