Old Trafford Bans iPads and Other Large Electronic Devices

old traffordManchester United has revealed changes in its club policy that will result in fans banned from bringing iPads and other large electronic devices to matches.

The club has offered no comment on the reason behind the decision, but it is likely that its intended to stop people blocking the view of other supporters when using the devices to record footage during the match, as well as copyright fears from the increasing amount of amateur video posted online.

The announcement was circulated ahead of the teams friendly against Valencia. The update to club policy also prohibited large bags, cameras and large containers of liquid, as well as drinks in cans, cartons or glass bottles, prams and buggies, large umbrellas, poles, sticks, tools, radios and banners greater than 2m by 1m.
