Pitch Perfect: Oxfam, Aussie, Club 21, Quiz

Pitch Perfect is our fortnightly update on all the latest client wins in the marketing industry.

Oxfam/Somethin Else
Oxfam has appointed content agency Somethin’ Else to help the charity grow its online retail site.

The agency has been tasked with creating a strategy to grow the site’s audience and revenue by building a loyal base of customers and supporters. The two will work together across all areas of Oxfam’s eCommerce content marketing strategy including product selection, photography, social media, influencers and integration with the charity’s high street locations.

Somethin’ Else was selected after a pitch process from a shortlist of three agencies.

Aussie/Switched On

WPP’s Switched On Media has been named as the digital agency of Australian mortgage broker Aussie Home Loans.

Switched On will be responsible for Aussie’s digital strategy, planning, media buying and execution across all digital channels.

“Digital has always played an integral role in Aussie’s marketing mix, and today it remains key to our ambitious growth strategy,” said Richard Burns, general manager, customer experience & technology, at Aussie Home Loans. “Switched On will work as an extension of our in-house marketing team, with their focus firmly on driving customer acquisitions.”

Club 21/Ecselis

Ecselis has won the performance marketing account for Singapore-based clothing retailer Club 21, taking over from the brand’s own in-house efforts.

Ecselis, Havas Group’s online performance marketing brand, will be responsible for driving online sales through various channels including search, social and display.

“Club21 Global is a very exciting win for us given the upmarket, designer brand e-commerce space it operates in,” said Hari Shankar, managing director of Ecselis Asia. “It is a relatively niche space with very different customer path-to-purchase stories and hence needs in-depth data analytics along with constant experimentation for effective optimisation to drive returns.”

Quiz/Threepipe
UK fashion retailer Quiz Clothing has appointed Threepipe to manage its customer acquisition programmes through display and social channels.

Threepipe is working to build prospecting and retargeting strategies across Facebook and Instagram, as well as running supporting display media and retargeting campaigns, primarily in the UK but also supporting the brand in Spain.

“We have been really impressed by Threepipe’s focus on delivering positive ROI across our key channels and their understanding of the women’s fashion audience,” said Lesley Morton, head of marketing at Quiz Clothing.
