Regent Street to Introduce Beacons and App

shutterstock_136103444 (1)Regent Street has revealed plans for an app leveraging Bluetooth beacons to push customised offers, plus product and event info, to shoppers as they walk past.

The app, developed by digital marketing firm autoGraph, is part of Regent Street's £1bn regeneration programme, which has led to brands including Burberry and J Crew.

David Shaw, head of the Regent Street portfolio, said: "This is a fantastic example of how Regent Street is continuing to evolve as the world's most successful shopping destination, bringing together online, physical and now mobile retailing to provide an experience which delivers across all of the platforms that appeal to 21st century shoppers."
