BSkyB channel Sky News has launched an exclusive phone number for viewers to use to send photos or video clips via MMS. Sky News hopes that the launch of a dedicated number will make it easier for people caught up in a major event to send photos or video footage into the channel.
The number, 07738 501 501, works internationally, and makes it easier for viewers to send their own material to the 24-hour news channel. The BBC and ITN already have similar dedicated numbers for MMS messages.
