US telecoms company Sprint has teamed up with Hulu to bring the TV streaming service to new and existing customers on one of its monthly unlimited plans.
Through the partnership, from 17 November, customers on Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan will gain access to Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan at no extra cost. Customers will have full access to Hulu’s thousands of TV shows and movies including This is Us, Family Guy, Atlanta, Fear the Walking Dead, Seinfield, and plenty more.
Sprint and Hulu plan to soon offer Unlimited Freedom customers an upgrade option for Hulu’s plan dedicated to news and sport. This plan offers access to sports such as the NFL, NCAA football, MLB, NBA, and football/soccer from around Europe.
“We know people love watching TV on their mobile devices, so we’re making it easier than ever for Sprint customers to enjoy their favourite shows and movies on Hulu,” said Tim Connolly, SVP and head of distributions and partnerships at Hulu. “This exciting partnership with Sprint gives TV fans nationwide a powerful, seamless entertainment experience that they can take with them, whenever and wherever they want.”
Sprint’s unlimited plan gives customers unlimited talk, text and data for $25 per month per line, with the fifth line free. It also includes a 10GB mobile hotspot. This pricing is valid until 31 January 2019 – at which point one line will cost $60, two lines $40, and $30 for lines three to five.
