TikTok is hosting its first Live book signing on TikTok Shop UK from 6-8pm today with cleaning sensation Sophie Liard, better known as The Folding Lady (@TheFoldingLady – 4.3M followers), to promote her newly-launched book.

Having been a driving force in the ever-growing #CleanTok (37.1B views) community, Sophies book is one of the first by a creator who rose to fame on TikTok. During the livestream, she will be talking about her journey and answering questions on The Folding Lady: Tools & tricks to make the most of your space & find after value in your home, while signing copies for fans.

It comes as #BookTok (51.5B views) continues to thrive on TikTok. TikTok said its book-loving community is using hashtags like #booknerd and #bookish to share their reading lists, while authors are increasingly using the platform to engage with fans and update them on their work.

During the Live signing, Sophie will be giving away signed copies as well as doing a Q&A with her fans, with live folding demos in the studio. TikTok Shop UK will also be offering the book at an exclusive discount.
