Tommys teams up with eOne for Dance with Peppa fundraising campaign

Tommy’s, the UK’s largest pregnancy charity, has teamed up with Peppa Pig and dance experts babyballet to launch the ‘Dance with Peppa’ campaign.

Order online, and a gift pack will be sent through the post to a little one, inviting them to Dance with Peppa. They’ll receive a personalised invitation, wall chart, stickers, and certificate, and through an online link will be able to access dance classes with Flutterstar the babyballet Fairy. Dance classes can be streamed on mobile, computer, or cast to a TV.

While there’s no age limit to being a Peppa fan – and parents are highly encouraged to join in – Dance with Peppa classes are most suitable for children aged six months to six years and can be adapted and enjoyed by little ones with different movement abilities or attention spans. All proceeds from the £14.99 Dance with Peppa gift package will support Tommys.

Entertainment One (eOne), Peppa Pigs parent company, has been partnering with Tommy’s since 2005. To date, Peppa has helped raise more than £3m to support Tommy’s work to find causes and treatments which save babies’ lives and helped to provide hundreds and thousands of parents with trusted pregnancy information and baby loss support.

One of Peppa’s fundamental brand aims is to help children learn through exploration and physical movement. Both Tommy’s and Peppa Pig share the goal of providing children with the best possible start in life.

“Dance with Peppa is a great way to give little dancers fun and engaging dance lessons from the comfort of their own homes,” said Peppa Pig eOne Marketing Director, Lucia Magadan. “It is a unique opportunity to develop confidence and skills thanks to expert tuition with babyballet, and to enjoy it all with their favourite friend Peppa Pig! It is fantastic that such a fun gift for kids can also raise vital funds to support Tommy’s important work.”

Matt Jerwood, head of digital engagement at Tommy’s, said: “We are excited to team up with Peppa Pig to create something fun and educational for kids. This is such an important new fundraising product to support our work and help to save babies’ lives. Thanks to the combination of dance expertise from babyballet and the incredible popularity and love of Peppa Pig we’ve been able to create something together for thousands of children to enjoy.”
