Waze brand refresh includes Mood icons to enable drivers to share how theyre feeling

Google-owned crowdsourced navigation app Waze has unveiled a brand refresh, including a new colour scheme and ‘Moods’ that enable users’ so share how they’re feeling using icons.

Waze said the new look and feel is part of its mission to reflect the vibrancy and passion of its loyal community members. Through the new designs, Waze has retained elements and brand characteristics through which the company was founded, and that the community knows and loves: iconic and original features have been further developed, as well as the new Moods added.

“Waze is home to the worlds largest community of drivers, and we’ve always used the power of our people to transform the road into a happier, more humane place,” said Waze Head of Creative, Jake Shaw. “This brand refresh encapsulates that unique Waze experience visually, with a new grid format based on our map, new Moods to capture the infinite array of emotions we all feel while driving, and a lively colour palette that celebrates the joy that we always try to bring to the road.”

The brand refresh rolls out from today.
