WIN Picks up Vodafone Brief

Vodafone UK has outsourced the provision of all its mobile alert services on Vodafone live! to the wireless solutions provider, Wireless Information Network (WIN). WIN already manages high profile content services for Vodafone live! in Greece.
The subscription, hosting and delivery of Vodafone live! SMS and MMS services was previously handled by multiple providers across the platform. The decision by Vodafone to bring all alerts under one supplier
is designed to lead to greater convenience, control and clarity for consumers, as well as generating operational benefits for Vodafone, allowing its team to focus on the roll-out of new services.
The service is being delivered through WIN's recently
-launched content management system, Emporium. The Emporium platform provides a hub that brings the content catalogues of the worlds leading providers, directly together with brands, marketers and distributors looking to deliver aggregated services to end-users.
Emporium offers a standardised sign-up and delivery mechanism for all alert services on Vodafone live!, including sports, news and lifestyle alerts, with the ability to order through web, WAP, SMS and IVR.
