YPlan Takes its Last-Minute Booking App to Las Vegas

YPlan Las Vegas ScreenshotYPlan has launched its last-minute event booking app in Las Vegas.

The app originally launched in London in 2012, before moving into New York last September and San Francisco this February.

Last year, YPlan founder and CEO Rytis Vitkauskas told us that the companys long-term vision is “to own the last-minute space globally”. With that in mind, it might seem strange that the app is rolling out to new cities so slowly, but this is because of the way YPlan curates its events listings in each city, which means building relationships with venues and promoters it partners with.

“Las Vegas is known for its stellar nightlife, making the city a natural fit for YPlan,” said Rytis Vitkauskas, YPlan CEO and founder. “The people who visit and live in Las Vegas are looking for amazing spontaneous experiences, and until now there hasn’t been a convenient way of booking tickets here. YPlan allows people to be spontaneous from the moment they land in Vegas until they’re out on the Strip at night.”

YPlan has also introduced a self-service partner portal, which enables venues and promoters to control the details of their events, add extra inventory on the fly, and access data on ticket sales, revenues and guest list.
