eBay lines up its first ever Idea Ads with Paid Partnership campaign on Pinterest

Online auction giant eBay has teamed up with Pinterest to promote its home decor product ranges.

It has recruited three UK Pinterest creators Poppy Deyes, Making the Manor, and Tiffany Grant-Riley to showcase the eBay offering via a ‘Christmas Your Way’ campaign.

The promotion uses Pinterest's recently launched Idea Ads with Paid Partnership ad format. This enables businesses to promote a creator-produced Idea Pin, which uses images and videos to tell a story and inspire the creator’s audience to action.

Home decor is the top category on Pinterest with millions of users coming to the platform every month to search and shop inspiration. Pinterest says it has has seen 3.5x increase in searches for ‘Christmas decor DIY’ this year.
