If youve been to one of our events, youll know that our Innovation Lab hosts companies presenting cutting-edge technology thats poised to transform the market with groundbreaking ideas and solutions.

At our upcoming flagship event, Mobile Marketing Life, were hosting three such companies who will be demonstrating how theyre using technology to create smart, original solutions and products.

Ericsson Connected Paper

Communications company Ericsson will be demonstrating their Connected Paper product, which incorporates a paper-thin battery, chip and antenna into labelling, packages or more.

Consumers who touch Connected Paper products transmit a signal through their bodies which can be interpreted by their smartphone or tablet, triggering it to look up a webpage, open up data relating to the package, or play a video.

Connected Paper has massive implications for a huge number of industries, from medicine packaging that transmits detailed instructions to clothing labels that recommend matching accessories.

Kovert DesignsKovert Designs Fashion Technology

Kovert Designs focuses on integrating technology with fashion in a way that augments consumers lives while remaining stylish and contemporary.

Its first line will be released in time for Christmas 2014, and is a range of smart designer rings, bracelets and necklaces with a removable tech pack that subtly vibrates in the event of certain notifications on your phone. An accompanying app enables wearers to set which events they want to generate an alert, allowing people to be what founder Kate Unsworth describes as “intelligently connected”.

Novelia Playable Posters

Technology company Novelia will be showcasing their playable poster technology, which incorporates conductive ink, capacitive touch and a flat-panel speaker to create an interactive poster that not only enables consumers to choose and listen to tracks, but also create their own sound effects in time with the music using a selection of inbuilt touch points.

The technology has been used in the media, advertising, music and healthcare sectors, and by brands including Becks, HMV and McCann Health.

Our flagship event, Mobile Marketing Life, takes place in London on 27 November. Brands go free. Book your place here.
